Solid tops are the best. Avoid a lot of stripes and other patterns. A variety of clothes and styles make for great portraits. Formal portraits look best in longer sleeves. Help look your best by making sure your clothing is ironed and ready to be photographed. Contact us with any further questions.
Avoid any place that will result in you getting sunburned before your session. If you do choose to tan, keep your color natural-looking. Sunburns, unusual tan lines and peeling skin will incur additional retouching costs.
Come to your session with your hair as you would like it in your pictures. Ponytails usually work best only for sports shots. Plan your hair cut or color far enough in advance in order to keep from looking too “new”.
Don’t stress about minor imperfections in your complexion. All final images can be retouched to insure the highest quality portraits.
#5: JEWELRY & GLASSES
Keep jewelry simple. Steer clear of large shiny jewelry that may reflect the lights. If possible, borrow a blank pair of glasses (no lenses) for your portraits. Also avoid photo-gray glasses, indoors or out. Contacts work great!
